Bonding
Bonding refers to the process whereby composite resin (tooth coloured plastic filling material) is bonded to tooth structure. This is typically done to repair chipped or decayed teeth, or to close spaces. It can also be done to reshape teeth or improve the appearance of discoloured teeth.
The advantage of bonding is that it requires very little tooth preparation and is done in the dental office.
The two front teeth were worn down due to a grinding habit
Tooth coloured filling material was bonded to those teeth to restore their natural form and youthful beauty. Very little tooth preparation was required, so local anaesthetic (freezing) was not needed
